Wyld Words – a space for wyld souls to connect and write poetry themed around the natural world and our inner nature.
At these monthly online poetry circles, we take inspiration from a different nature being or environment. Since we began in March 2022, we have written about moss, rivers, birds, octopuses, cacti and many more!
Each session will begin with a welcome circle and a grounding meditation, then I will introduce the nature being with some fun trivia and facts. We will then work through two prompts and have time to share our work if you wish!
No writing experience is necessary and sharing of your work is completely invitational! Wyld Words has blossomed into a warm, supportive and nurturing container which I am so proud to be space holder for!
Wyld Words is donation based with free spaces available if needed. Attendees will have access to the 1.5 hour workshop and receive a compendium of the poems written at your event (shared with the writer’s permission!).

“I am so glad that I found this monthly poetry circle online. Lizzie puts a lot of thought and work into compiling these themed writing sessions. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and very relaxed. Themes so far have included moss, plankton, cacti and rivers, I can honestly say that I have always learned something new and interesting during every workshop. I also enjoy reading the document Lizzie puts together after the session with the collected poems of all the participants (who wished to share their pieces). I love writing about nature and Lizzie’s poetry circle provides much appreciated inspiration.” – Britta, Scotland, UK.
“Wyld Words is wonderful and inspiring – a place where every guest feels held and supported by host Lizzie and the rest of the group. Lizzie creates a special and inclusive environment while also giving us fascinating information about whatever subject we will be writing about during the session. It’s given me an opportunity to set aside time for poetry – but the true blessing of the event is the atmosphere. It’s a soothing balm that eases the stresses of life!” – Issy, UK
